JOIN OUR COMMUNITY
Membership in our church is rooted in active participation, relationship, and shared commitment to community. We encourage those interested in joining to approach membership in the same way they would any other church: with care, consideration, respect, and a genuine commitment to ongoing participation. Joining a church is not a casual or one-time decision; it reflects a willingness to show up, build relationships, and be an active part of the community over time. We ask all prospective members to take time to genuinely connect with our community before seeking membership.
We want to be transparent:
-
We are not currently offering ayahuasca ceremonies, and membership does not automatically provide access to future ceremonies.
-
Membership is not intended for those seeking occasional or one-time experiences.
-
Membership is for those who feel called to actively participate, build relationships, and contribute to the life of the community.
If you are primarily interested in future ceremonial offerings, we encourage you to stay connected through public channels and our monthly newsletter until those offerings are available.
Local Applicants
For those local to the area:
(This includes those within 60-90 minutes of Spokane, WA)
We require consistent participation prior to membership consideration. Attending a single event is not sufficient to build the relational foundation that membership is based on.
Before applying, we ask that you:
-
Attend multiple community events over time
-
Engage with members and facilitators
-
Demonstrate genuine interest in ongoing participation
If there is alignment after these steps have been mindfully taken, please reach out to Connor for a membership application.
Ongoing membership is based on continued participation. Members who are inactive or disengaged over time may be moved out of active membership status to ensure that our community remains aligned, connected, and intentional.
Non-Local Applicants
At this time, we are not accepting membership applications from individuals who are not able to participate in our community on a regular basis. Our church is rooted in in-person relationship and engagement, and our current offerings are designed for those who are local and able to participate consistently. We are not currently offering ceremonies or virtual programming that would make travel for membership meaningful at this stage.
However, we invite you to stay connected through our social media, blog, and monthly newsletter. If you feel aligned with our work, you can also support us from afar through donations as we continue preparing our facilities.
Feel free to reach out with further questions to hello@churchgaia.org.
